Rising from the Ashes: Just 48 hours after the fire had devastated this village, the debris had been cleared, tarpaulins had sprung up and there were all the signs of a new beginning. Fresh water was in place, food donated and cooking pots delivered.  Amidst the rain and mud, Chanmony Pich arrived to distribute packages that included noodles, floors coverings, sleeping mats and money for each family.  Chanmony Pich has an energy and compassion that is rare. There were no press or TV crews to record her kindness. She called me close to midnight last night, expressing her concerns and asking how she could help.
